One of the nation’s largest employee-owned specialty contractors, the Anning-Johnson Company, has officially opened its new regional headquarters at 7070 Infantry Ridge Road in Manassas, bringing its Northern Virginia operations under one roof. The new 25,000-square-foot, build-to-suit facility not only consolidates the company’s regional offices but also creates 90 new jobs with an estimated $13 million capital investment.

Today’s ribbon cutting ceremony in the expanded warehouse space drew employees, local leaders, and development partners to the new modern headquarters along the I-66 corridor. The new site offers direct access to key transportation routes, making it an essential upgrade for the company’s distribution logistics in the construction industry.

"This new headquarters reflects both our company’s growth and our belief in the power of our people,” said Greg Bergstedt, vice president at Anning-Johnson. "By bringing our teams together in a state-of-the-art space, we’re positioning ourselves to better serve our clients, strengthen our culture, and continue to grow careers here in Prince William County."

Board of County Supervisors Chair Deshundra Jefferson praised the company for choosing to build its future in Prince William County, noting the Board’s investment in making the project possible.

“Anning-Johnson choosing Prince William County for its Mid-Atlantic headquarters is a powerful statement about the strength of our workforce and the opportunities that exist here,” said Jefferson. “By authorizing $150,000 in water and sewer credits, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors is reaffirming our commitment to supporting projects that bring high-quality jobs and long-term investment to our community. We are proud to welcome the Anning-Johnson as they begin this new chapter here.”

Christina Winn, executive director of the Prince William County Department of Economic Development and Tourism, highlighted how this investment aligns with the county’s growth strategy.

"With its new headquarters, strategically located along I-66, the company is set to continue building on its legacy of excellence while deepening its roots in Prince William County"” said Winn. "This project not only brings high-quality jobs but also reinforces our position as a destination for companies that value both talent and community."
