Prince William County is pleased to welcome F1 Computer Solutions, LLC to its growing community of IT companies and federal contractors. The company’s new location at 10611 Balls Ford Road in Manassas will serve as its headquarters and brings 15 new jobs to the county with an average salary of $60,000.

Established in 2000 as a Woman-Owned Small Business, F1 has a 20-year track record of providing first-in-class information technology services to clients throughout the Greater Washington DC Region and beyond. F1’s loyal clients represent a wide cross section of industry and government, including the Federal Government. With a full service offering of on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure and applications, F1 has an established position on the leading edge of leveraging technology to enable its clients to function productively and securely wherever they conduct business.

“We are thrilled to be moving our headquarters to Manassas to join many other successful businesses who have chosen to make Prince William County their home. We are excited about the increased access to a talented and diverse workforce,” said Kirsten Kunkler, President, F1. “While we serve the Federal government and clients throughout the United States and increasingly across the globe, we are committed to providing support to and collaborating with local businesses and municipalities to nurture a healthy and engaged community.”

“We are delighted to welcome F1 to Prince William County,” said Ann Wheeler, Chair At-Large, Prince William Board of County Supervisors. “As a business that started out small and expanded over time through sheer hard work and determination, I know they’ll feel at home as the newest member of our county’s business community.”

“We congratulate F1 on its decision to move to Prince William County,” said Gainesville District Supervisor Pete Candland. “This move is yet another testament to the county’s unique mix of attributes that make it an attractive location. More and more, businesses are recognizing the value of our highly skilled workforce, competitive real estate and strategic location, as well as our pro-business environment.”

The company anticipates its new location along I-66 will allow easier access to its clients, while providing room for expansion to meet their growing market share.

To help facilitate the company’s move, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors agreed to provide a $20,000 incentive from the county’s Economic Development Opportunity Fund, keeping with the county’s identification of IT and federal contracting as “targeted” industries.
