IGNITE Startup Grant Winners: Where Are They Now?

The IGNITE program is Prince William County’s signature entrepreneurial program providing opportunities for education, funding, and networking during pivotal years for scaling startups and high-growth businesses. 

Our IGNITE Startup Grants are offered to high-growth companies looking to  expand or locate in Prince William County. Grants are offered at the $25K, $50K, and $100K levels depending on the applicant’s qualifications.

Here are a few previous winners: 

• SylLab Systems, post-quantum cryptography and cybersecurity firm, placed third at the inaugural Quantum World Congress pitch contest in December 2022.
• BCMstrategy Inc. recently released upgraded datasets for digital currency policy, climate finance policy, and monetary policy that align to capital market automated workflows by attaching stock market ticker symbols to its data.
• Impruvon Health discussed their progress with BioBuzz since winning their IGNITE grant in September 2021.
• TRAXyL continues to build out their team and technology at their Gainesville facility. 
• Bacchus Therapeutics moved into the Prince William Science Accelerator and was featuring in the Scaling Curiosity life sciences video channel. 

In 2023, criteria for the grant applications were further refined, ensuring applicants are outside the NOVA EDA (Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax City, Fairfax, Falls Church, Fauquier, Loudoun, Manassas, and Manassas Park) to respect our commitment to our partners in the region.
