John Marshall Bank Honored at the 2026 Chamber Business Awards

Written by Prince William County | Feb 27, 2026

Each year, the 2026 Prince William Chamber of Commerce Business Awards recognizes businesses and leaders in the business community who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to partnership, collaboration, and economic growth in our community.

Prince William Board of County Supervisors Chair Deshundra Jefferson presented the 2026 Business Partnership Award to John Marshall Bank in recognition of the bank’s commitment to strengthening the local business community. Their partnership with Villagio Hospitality Group helped grow the 21-acre NOVA LIVE campus, which just opened the Repeal Speakeasy earlier this month.

“This recognition speaks to the broader role institutions like community banks play in shaping our business ecosystem,” said Chair Jefferson. “John Marshall Bank brings not only financial expertise, but also accessibility, responsiveness, and a genuine understanding of the local business landscape. That level of engagement strengthens the confidence and resilience of companies across Prince William County.”

Located at 12701 Marblestone Drive in Woodbridge, John Marshall Bank opened their Prince William County office in December 2018. The office has also been an active partner in entrepreneurship initiatives led by the Prince William County Department of Economic Development and Tourism. The bank co-sponsors the Start SMART Small Business Series, serves as a pitch-competition judge, and mentors emerging entrepreneurs as they refine their business ideas and prepare for growth.

“We are honored to receive the 2026 Business Partnership Award,” said Brendan Baldwin, senior vice president, senior commercial team lead at John Marshall Bank. “The bank is proud to continue to offer tailored support to the unique businesses throughout Prince William County. Our partnership with Prince William County and the Chamber of Commerce allows us to help entrepreneurs access capital, strengthen their operations, and build long-term success.
