Prince William County takes center stage in an upcoming episode of Discovery Channel’s RV There Yet? airing this Saturday, June 28 at 8:30 a.m. ET. The nationally televised episode will showcase the region’s rich history, outdoor experiences, vibrant culinary scene, and thriving small businesses—all designed to inspire travel and adventure.
"How can you not stop?! The Prince William Forest Campground is right off I-95, the National Museum of the Marine Corps is right off I-95, just a little further in and an entire world of history, shopping, and incredible culinary spots await you to explore," said Kevin McCabe, executive producer and co-host, RV There Yet. "Prince William County is perfect for any traveler—there’s something for everyone. Our advice – get off I-95 and enjoy your adventure!"
The episode highlights several popular destinations including the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Prince William Forest Park, Manassas National Battlefield Park, Historic Downtown Manassas, Sinistral Brewing Company, and the live entertainment venue NOVA Live.
According to the RV Industry Association (RVIA), 44 million Americans plan to go RVing this summer with Millennials (83%) and Gen Z (81%) some of the most enthusiastic age groups—highlighting a continued generational shift in RV interest and ownership.
Produced and hosted by full-time RV travelers Kevin and Patrice McCabe, RV There Yet? takes viewers on a journey across America, spotlighting unique attractions, local flavors, and welcoming communities.
Prince William County Department of Economic Development and Tourism (PWCDEDT) worked closely with the McCabes over five months to plan and coordinate their visit. From virtual meetings to on-the-ground logistics, PWCDEDT curated a tight itinerary that highlights some of the best experiences in Prince William County and the City of Manassas.
