The Prince William County Department of Economic Development and Tourism (PWCDEDT) celebrated Executive Director Christina Winn being named a 2026 honoree in the Washington Business Journal’s Real Estate Dealmakers award ceremony last week.
The annual awards program recognizes leaders across the Greater Washington D.C. region who are shaping communities through transformative real estate projects, strategic vision, and impactful partnerships.
Winn’s leadership has helped position Prince William County as a destination for thoughtful, high-impact development. She has supported projects that drive economic growth while enhancing quality.
"I’m honored to be recognized alongside leaders who are helping shape the places where our region lives, works, and grows,” said Winn. “In Prince William County, we’re focused on creating places that attract investment, support businesses, and build a stronger community for the long term.”
Recent projects and partnerships reflect that approach, including continued momentum in Innovation Park and the expansion of destination-driven assets like Villagio Hospitality Group’s NOVA LIVE, which has helped transform the area into a regional hub for dining, entertainment, and community events.
Her focus on collaboration and adaptability was also evident during the 2025 government shutdown, when she helped pivot Taste of NoVa to NOVA LIVE in Manassas, ensuring the event’s continued success.
Winn's leadership underscores the County’s commitment to placemaking and creating vibrant, experience-driven environments.
