Unlocking Tomorrow’s Opportunities

Nearly 300 entrepreneurs, innovators, creators, makers, and do-ers came together under one roof last week to celebrate the business community in Prince William County. The third annual Make Your Mark Awards Ceremony & Business Celebration toasted a year of growth, grit, and big wins across our county.

From the moment guests stepped into the National Museum of the Marine Corps, the energy was unmistakable: excitement buzzing, conversations sparking, and power of possibility in every corner.

Showcasing Business Magic

The evening kicked off with the Calibrate Community Showcase, where exhibitors from across Prince William County’s small business support ecosystem met attendees, reconnected with clients, and handed out everything from business cards to resource guides. It was the kind of networking that doesn’t feel like networking: lively, welcoming, and fueled by the shared goal of building a stronger business community.

The lights dimmed and the spotlight shifted to the heart of the evening: the Make Your Mark Awards. Four awards, each recognizing a different kind of community impact, highlighted the people and companies who helped move Prince William County forward this year.

We kept the finalists and winners' names a secret until the moment their names were called. The reactions were worth every second of suspense.

The night wrapped with a room full of raised glasses and shared pride. Conversations lingered. New partnerships were born. Plans for next year were already being whispered before the evening ended.

Because that’s what the Make Your Mark Business Celebration is about: Recognizing today’s momentum while unlocking tomorrow’s opportunities.
