Making a New Year’s resolution is a time-honored tradition, and among the most popular resolutions every year are:

  • Start or grow a business.
  • Get organized.
  • Find a work and life balance.

For many people, abandoning those same resolutions early in the year is also a tradition. The key to successfully achieving your New Year’s resolutions may be in flexing your local resources.

Getting Organized

Getting organized can start in many ways, and decluttering your home or office is often necessary before real organization can happen.

Donation Centers
Success can depend on your ability to donate items you no longer need or want. Remember to only donate those items that are still in good use.

Storage Options

Sometimes you need just a bit more space. That’s where additional storage comes in handy. There are storage options in every corner of the county.

Finding Balance and Practicing Mindfulness

Achieving life balance is different for everyone but finding the right proportion of time you spend on your work, with your family, and just to yourself is an ongoing search.

PWCDED profiled local businesses that specialize in helping individuals and families find that balance through exercise, therapy, and more.

Explore your neighborhood taking classes or finding places to unwind right in your backyard.

Change is hard, but Prince William County has resources to help you achieve your vision.
